Pregnancy Massage Dublin

Pamper yourself during your pregnancy and treat yourself to a relaxing massage.

AcuBaby has partnered with an experienced massage therapist to offer pregnancy massage on Saturdays in our Dominick Street clinic, a few steps away from the Rotunda maternity hospital.

Signature Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage is a holistic massage which focuses mainly on relaxation. It is a gentle and soothing massage with long sweeping strokes and minimal pressure. Yet, it is effective enough to ease muscle tension and relieve your pregnancy aches and pains.

Benefits you can expect from a pregnancy massage are : deep relaxation, tension release, pain relief and a reduction in feet/ankle swelling.

For your comfort and to accommodate your growing baby, you will be lying on your side supported by pregnancy pillows and cushions.

Our massage therapist has extensive training and experience and can recognize which areas hold tension and need extra therapeutic attention.

Your pregnancy massage will be tailored to your individual needs.

F.A.Q.

Frequently Asked

Is pregnancy massage safe in the 1st trimestre?
Pregnancy massage is safe throughout pregnancy. However, pregnancies are very fragile in the first 12 weeks with an increased risk of miscarriage. For your peace of mind and ours, we have chosen to only offer pregnancy massage from 13 weeks onwards.
Will I have to lie on my front or back?

Our pregnancy massages are performed lying on your side. We will find a position that is comfortable for you, supported by wedge and leg pilows.

How long is the massage?

You have the option to choose between a 60 or 90 min treatment.

What should I wear? Will I have to undress?

We recommend that you remove your clothes, and keep your underwear on. You will be covered by towels, only exposing the body part that is being massaged.
